Pastor Dan began his ministry as a teacher and dorm supervisor at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI. After two years there, he was reassigned to start a mission church in Blair, NE. He next accepted a call to serve as a teacher and director of international students at Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School in Commerce City, CO. Three years later, he accepted Bethany's call to serve as pastor and has been here since July 2022.

Dan met his wife Hannah during his ministry in Nebraska, and they have been married since July 2017. They have two little girls, Jane and Violet. Besides enjoying ministry at Bethany, Dan enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking spaghetti from scratch, and playing games with his girls.
