Matthew Koepsell

President

Matt is Bethany’s Church President. He serves as the official representative of the congregation and head of the Leadership Team. He provides administrative leadership to assist the congregation in carrying out its mission and vision, and provides support and direction to all ministry teams and their team leads.

Matt is married to Corrie and the two of them are enjoying being grandparents for the first time. They have two children Paul and Samantha (Sammi) who is married to Aaron Stegman, Sammi and Aaron have one son, Owen.

Matt has been in the teaching ministry for many years. His first call was to serve as the principal and a teacher at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Delano, Minnesota. He has been serving since 2000 as a teacher at Fox Valley Lutheran High School in the Religion and Social Studies departments. In his free time Matt can usually be found enjoying one of his favorite activities, working in his woodshop.
