Matthew Koepsell

Worship team lead

Matt is Bethany's Worship Lead. His team is responsible for helping to plan and promote consistent meaningful worship for members and visitors on both the Lynndale and Parkway campuses.

Matt is married to Corrie and the two of them are enjoying being grandparents for the first time. They have two children Paul and Samantha (Sammi) who is married to Aaron Stegman, Sammi and Aaron have one son, Owen.

Matt has been in the teaching ministry for many years. His first call was to serve as the principal and a teacher at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Delano, Minnesota. He has been serving since 2000 as a teacher at Fox Valley Lutheran High School in the Religion and Social Studies departments. In his free time Matt can usually be found enjoying one of his favorite activities, working in his woodshop.
