While some may seek to be entertained, given the "how to manual for life", or just kept awake while fulfilling their spiritual obligation for the week - we believe that worship is a personal opportunity to come into the presence of our Savior-God. We need to hear his promises and proclamations and experience Him in the Sacraments. It's our joyful privilege to set aside a day to be filled up by His Spirit and gladly "go to the house of the Lord" on Sundays. more information . . .

Welcome To Bethany
That's something we hope you will hear more than once when visiting our congregation for worship or a fellowship activity. And we pray that it's not just something that is said and heard... but that it's also experienced. We want you to feel as though you matter and that we desire to make any time you spend here feel like "time spent among friends". Let us know how we do. We always hope to do better as we serve God's people.
Thanksgiving Eve Worship
As Thanksgiving approaches you may be thinking of an actual meal in the dining room or an all-day football extravaganza... and those two things certainly have become earmarks of our thanksgiving holiday...along with a jump on Black Friday shopping. But will you be starting the holiday in the right place and with the right frame of mind? The right spirit of heart? THAT is why God's people love to begin this national holiday by gathering in God's House to thank Him for being the source of every blessing we enjoy in this life.
Won't you join us for worship on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013, at 6:30 PM as we join our hearts and voices in giving thanks and praise to Him "from whom all blessings flow"? We consider that a real joy. And if you're inclined, please bring along an extra donation or two of non-perishable food items that will then be shared with those in need in our church and in our communty through the services of the Apple Valley Food Pantry.
