Kingdom Workers in Grenada

WELS Kingdom Workers has a deep-rooted presence in the Caribbean country of Grenada. We have established programs for children with disabilities including parent support groups, sports camps in partnership with the Paralympics, and have worked with caregivers, students, and volunteers in the area – sharing the gospel while providing belonging. Hurricane Beryl has left a path of unprecedented destruction there with damage to homes, critical infrastructure, and essential services. Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a SIGNIFICANT impact in helping our brothers and sisters in Grenada rebuild their lives. With your designated emergency funds, we can jump into action as soon as we have been able to establish communication with those on Carriacou offering specialized support for vulnerable populations, like those with disabilities, and continue our mission of sharing Christ's love through tangible actions. Your support is critical and greatly appreciated. You can give online at kingdomworkers.com.

New Sermon Series - Many Hats, One Face

Beginning July 13-15.

You have so many things to do - and they're often so different. You're a part of a family, a worker in a business, a member of a church, a curious thinker. You have a body, mind, and soul to take care of. The crazy part is that through all these hats you have to wear, you're still YOU.

Your struggles, your deficiencies, your past, your present, your skills, your opinions, your...everything. Managing yourself through the many, many situations in which life places you is no small task. God has direction for you as you go about it. This series is designed to help you find and remember those truths.

Midweek Oasis Bible Study in May

“For such a time as this.” It’s perhaps the most famous verse from the book of Esther, the topic of our Midweek Oasis Bible Study for the month of May (May 8,15, and 22 to be exact). We’ll be taking a pretty quick overview of this most interesting book. It is the account of God preserving his people during captivity in Persia, as well as full of political intrigue. It also encourages us to think about how God might use us when and where he has placed us in life. Come join us!

Donations for New Stroller

Our Shepherd Childcare and Family Ministry is currently seeking donations to offset the cost of a new 6 seater stroller for our infants. The new stroller costs nearly $1,000, but thanks to the generosity of a couple of you, we only need $200 more to reach our goal! If you would like to contribute to the cost of this important safety update, you may give your donations directly to Our Shepherd or leave your gift in the offering basket (with a note "for Our Shepherd stroller") If you are writing a check, please make it out to Our Shepherd Childcare.
