Pastor Johnston, Instructor
The purpose of this class is to provide students with a “big picture” perspective of the story of our salvation in preparation for confirmation classes in 7th and 8th grade. Over the course of two years, the students will read and discuss all the chief Bible history accounts of the Old and New Testaments – 143 stories in all. Along the way, we will also consider key Bible teachings that are presented in the stories. In this way, when students begin confirmation class, not only will they have been introduced to many of the teachings that they will study in more depth during their 7th and 8th grade year, they will also be familiar with the story of our salvation, from the garden of Eden to the missionary journeys of the apostle Paul.
