We know Jesus, right? I mean, at least, we know things about him: He was the son of a carpenter, he was a Jewish rabbi, he spoke for social reform and was an advocate for the underdog. But if that’s all Jesus was, he’s maybe worth a few pages in a history textbook, but not much more. Certainly not someone worth staking your eternity on.
The full story of Jesus, however, is much broader. And much more important. But it’s a story that for thousands of years has been covered up, redacted, and corrupted. Enemies of Jesus, enemies of God, enemies of peace and life have ever since Jesus was first promised been working the world’s largest conspiracy to hide the truth of who Jesus was--who Jesus is.
But the truth is so plain. And so open. If we only take the time to actually hear Jesus speak for himself in the Bible, we find the whole life-changing, darkness-challenging story on who that baby born in Bethlehem really was.
It’s time to expose the lie. It’s to seek the truth. It’s time to see Jesus revealed.
